EU Youth Cinema: Green Deal invites all teachers and their students to take part in the innovative green programme for the future!

A sustainable Europe is the focus of the trendsetting EU Youth Cinema: Green Deal project. It makes an important contribution to the appreciation and understanding of the EU climate strategy and provides an international platform for a multicultural approach to the green agenda. It is located in the field of European dialogues and is therefore politically absolutely neutral and democratic.

Our unique educational offer with a sustainable focus brings the green agenda to young citizens of all backgrounds through films and discussions in cinemas and an innovative, multilingual streaming platform with a strong didactic narrative available at www.euyc.green. The project especially engages with the young audience on environmental challenges and promotes green habits and a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle.

The year-round educational programme is based on a carefully curated collection of at least 50+ European films, accompanied by up-to-date didactic materials and thematically related discussions, workshops, and lectures. All registered teachers will immediately receive full access to European films and didactic materials. The entire programme is freely accessible to all registered school classes in 12 countries, and partially also worldwide. The registration process is very simple and takes only a few minutes. EU Youth Cinema: Green Deal is available free of charge, thanks to Creative Europe MEDIA and the main sponsors and partners: the Austrian Ministry of Climate (BMK), the Vienna Insurance Group, the Austrian Collecting Society for Audiovisual Media VAM and Cineplexx International as an exclusive cinema partner in 11 countries and 33 cities.
