AN INNOVATIVE PROGRAMME FOR THE FUTURE

CLICK HERE TO GET TO THE STREAMING PLATFORM

The year-round educational programme is based on a carefully curated collection of at least 50+ European films, accompanied by up-to-date didactic materials and thematically related discussions, workshops, and lectures. All registered teachers will immediately receive full access to European films and didactic materials.

The entire project is available free of charge, thanks to Creative Europe MEDIA and the main sponsors: Austrian Ministry of Climate (BMK), the Vienna Insurance Group and Cineplexx International.

The entire programme is freely accessible to all registered school classes in 12 countries, and partially also worldwide. You are not from one of our partnering countries and still want to take part in our programme? Teachers from other parts of the world have the opportunity to register for a smaller portion of our film programme. They can use our German and English didactic materials for their lessons and get access to our online discussions and newsletter.

The trendsetting EU Youth Cinema: Green Deal project is dedicated to a sustainable Europe. It makes an important contribution to the appreciation and understanding of the EU climate strategy and provides an international platform for a multicultural approach to the green agenda. It is located in the field of European dialogs and therefore politically absolutely neutral and democratic.

The unique educational offer with a sustainable focus brings the green agenda to young citizens of all backgrounds – through films and discussions in the cinemas and an innovative, multilingual streaming platform with a strong didactic narrative available at www.euyc.green. The project especially engages with the young audience on environmental challenges and promotes green habits and a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle.
